Just putting a penny on this thought. I myself, am in a state of flux on Millennialism. However, The Bible doesn’t say anything so far that proves to me that we’ll be taken before the 7 yr tribulation. What it does say is that we’ll be gathered into the Lord’s army at the battle of Armageddon. I believe this because it is written and because we’re are so deep in Biblical prophesy fulfillment it is almost unreal. I feel that the Bible is pretty much black and white in description, You just have to consider that John/Ezekiel could only describe things with what they had to compare them to. The Lutheran’s believe that we’re already in the 1000 yr reign and that it is Christs spirit that rules the earth. I guess a person could believe this if they never studied the Bible. To many things that were written are happening in order for that to be correct. Things like this and the pre-millenial rapture are dangerous teachings in my eyes. What happens when you’re not raptured? Do you then disbelieve and lose your faith?? Dangerous. Most of the world will be fooled, its written. All I can really say is that a person should sudy the word of God, with the word Christ will destroy, better to know it. For the false teachers out there, (which we are repeatedly warned of by Christ, Paul and the other apostles), beware,,, Malachi ch. 2 has your reward. I guess to put this to a close; I fear for us all that believe in the Lord. Our counrty has turned its back on God and is falling. I’m sure we all question our faith, I do. But I’m always reading and trying to learn as much about our Father and our Savior that I can. Must be doing something right. God Bless you all, I hope that the truth is always reveiled to you and that false doctrines do not rest on you or me for that matter.

I’m not sure how to download the files on this page. I enjoy John MacArthur’s teaching’s and would like very much to download a few of his mp3’s that you’ve listed.

You have an opportunity to have a great site hereI don’t want to sound offensive when I say this but, if you’re really serious about growing in God’s word, your salvation and the salvation of those you seem to be aimed at trying to lead to The word, Benny Hinn is NOT one to follow. I’ve heard several of his sermons and found he doesn’t preach according to the Bible. He actually falls under the heading of “false preaching”. Unfortunately, as with many other preachers of his kind, he’s leading a lot of souls to hell who think they are on the right path. Sadly he’s making millions doing it. As it says in God’s word, Mr Hinn will have a lot to answer for on the other side.

If you’re really interested in your own Salvation and leading people to Christ, you may want to check out people like John Piper, Paul Washer, even Kirk Cameron & Ray Comfort — The Way of the Master.

John MacArthur and John Piper are my favorites because they literally teach verse by verse…When in LA I’ve gone to John MacAthurs church (Grace to You) and found that like his father, he truly is a man of God, and a phenomenal preacher/teacher of the word.

Actually, although there are many great teachers, all who I’ve mentioned have a fear of the Lord in them and they preach based on God’s word…

Jesus had no problem referring to God as Father – specifically. Several times referring to Him as Abba (Daddy). When people want to refer to verses in scripture which describe God as a mother hen or a woman in labor you are really misinterpreting the point. Those phrases are similes. The definition of a simile is “a figure of speech that expresses a resemblance between things of different kinds – usually using ‘like’ or ‘as’.” Every single one of those verses that were referenced earlier begins with the word “as”. That is a simile. It is a comparison to the original – not the real thing. Jesus repeatedly referred to God as “Father”. Why do we want to change that image? I understand people have had horrible experiences with earthly fathers, but come on – what better image then to compare that God our heavenly Father is NOTHING like that! Someone very close to me was raised by an abusive, apathetic, non-loving earthly father. In fact, the person will only refer to him as his “B.F.” – biological father. I don’t have time to tell you the things he suffered because and from this man. But he has NO problem whatsoever in seeing God as his Father. God is the Father he never had. He is the complete opposite of his B.F. It brings him comfort to know that God the Father is all of the things his earthy father was not. And now that he is a father himself, he strives to be like God the Father and not his BF. Though he admits his BF was a great teacher because he taught him that he did not want to be like him. I do not think that is a valid argument or excuse for people refusing to address God in the masculine form. It’s an excuse. Period.
