The NLT, NASB, NIV got pulled from Biiible.com; Translation Copyright summary; Get Biiible’s NLT NASB NIV PDF on Emule

In the last month or two, the New Living Translation (NLT), NIV, and NASB was pulled from Biiible.com. Looks like the copyright mafia are in the bible world too. I’m surprised they still have the Amplified bible (AMP). The NLT is not available on Gospelcom.net also. Probably unfair royalty demands.

  • JohnHurt.com – More PD translations – english and non
  • Biiible.com (Can not afford royalties for AMP, NASB, NLT, MSG)
  • Gospelcom.net Bible Gateway (Can afford royalties for AMP, NASB, MSG, but no NLT :( )

I have these 3 translations and the other 13 remaining translations (+apocrypha) shared on Emule P2P!! Available in PDF, DOC, RTF, and TXT. I created the RTF and TXT versions myself off of the DOC version. They have been up on the ED2K network for over a year. The Audio bible NLT and NIV PDFs were up already (I got the audio bible from Emule; didn’t rip myself, but I am the one of the most reliable seeds) but I am the effective releaser for all the other translations for PDF and all of them for the PDF combo-archives, DOC, RTF, TXT, and Java (Both single and combo).

You can still get to the ‘removed versions’ on Biiible.com. You just have to hack the querystring (you have to re-hack with each new search).

    from
    http://www.biiible.com/dispchapt.php?instring=Revelation%2011&ver=NKJV&book=Revelation&chapter=11
    to
    http://www.biiible.com/dispchapt.php?instring=Revelation%2011&ver=LOT&book=Revelation&chapter=11

    or

    from
    http://www.biiible.com/searchresults.php?begin=0&instring=take+heaven&ver=NKJV&lookin=
    to
    http://www.biiible.com/searchresults.php?begin=0&instring=take+heaven&ver=NLT&lookin=

The Querystring to hack is ver=[xxx] where that is one of the elements of the set (AMP ASV BBE DARBY DRB KJ21 KJV KJVSP NAB NASB NIV NKJV NLT WBST WEB YLT). NLT, NIV, NASB are the ones that got removed. For both of these exmamples, the only thing being changed is ver=NKJV to ver=NLT

I have never used this. I just downloaded it, saw that it opened and wasn’t porn-spam, overhauled the file name for enhanced searchability, and re-shared it. I’ll fix the filename in my share though though filenames are limited to 150 characters so I can’t point out the misleading filenames, but I can relable NKJV to KJV.

hello. when was the last time you were able to access http://www.biiible.com?
it had been my homepage for a long time, but now, it hasn’t loaded.
i’ve tried several computers, but no success.
i’ve tried the who is site: http://www.whois.sc, but cant access that way either.
ive tried the wayback machine: http://www.waybackmachine.org, but cannot connect to their archived data.
boy, they must have pissed the devil off really bad, if your waybacks dissappear. well, GOD ALMIGHTY BE BLESSED.

      sincerely,

Not for awhile. I host copies all their downloadable stuff both for direct download ( http://www.yeshuaagapao.com/download.htm ) and ED2K (eMule/EDonkey; links on same page). Might be trademark with Google this time. I had a site taken down b/c of trademarks, only to end up shared as an archive on eMule.

Thank you very much for the database of bible translations. I was looking for an NIV database to use with Easislides, but couldn’t find. With this file I was able to make one for the same. Thank you & God bless you.
I still think the Word of God should be free.

      luv
