I don’t think any country should make themselves dependent on continual handouts. There are reactors that don’t need enriched uranium like CANDU or Advanced_Heavy_Water_Reactor (The latter runs on Thorium actually). If Iran can be made able to make its own heavy water (D2O) in addition to building and operating one or both of CANU or Advanced Heavy Water Reactors I would support it. Otherwise if they have to kiss ass for their nuke fuel, i’d probably tell everybody to kiss my ass if I were running Iran. Iran could be really wanting nukes too, who knows, but if Iran can use enrichment-free, nonbreeding reactors without kissing ass for fuel or disposal, i’d accept the EU deal if I were Iran’s dictator.
