Watch out for Viruses But Emule far better than Kazaa (FastTrack) and BearShear (Gnutella)
I’ve discovered plenty of infected files from Emule. Every single one of them are standalone cracks and No-CD cracks for games (infected .exe inside archive). Disdain .EXEs (the small ones are often mob-created trojans) and scan your incoming folder before you start assimilating stuff, expecially if you are downloading NoCD cracks and standalone cracks and keygens. Softwares with cracks bundled are always clean and the reare onese mostly are too. And bundled cracks always work….? Forget about Kazaa.? You can’t explicitly search for archives and many many .exes are Virus infected.? BearShear is in-between.? I don’t know why Rick likes BearShear so much.? Emule is far better.? BearShear is no more anyway, not Open Source / GPL / Copyleft.
