The desolate third world downloads my Bible shares! Plus other rare country & file Emule stuff.

These are from last night on my Cell Phone Modem. Yes, You can use filesharing on a cellphone modem if the service don’t suck! I use Verizon Wireless BroadBandAccess, but only web downloads get the broadband speeds. Emule is operating within NationalAccess Parameters – 14K up/down (on Novatel V620 – its 14Kdown/6Kup on Sierra Wireless 555), but it is still faster than 56K and a little faster than ISDN (ISDN is full-duplex though, cable/DSL/cellphone isn’t). I can play multiplayer games (high-ping tolerant – ping is a little worse than a 56K modem – 200-400ms boradbandaccess, 400-800ms nationalaccess) on the stern of the queen mary and surf the web nearly nonstop on the GreyHound bus from LA to Phoenix.

Isreali person downloading the old testment portion of the tyndale dramatized audio bible. You can notice that I put chinese characters for the 5 main keywords in the verbose filename to make it even more searchable by foreign countries.

Chinese person downloading the old testment portion of the tyndale dramatized audio bible. This is later than the Isreali and Nigerian one, after I added the Kitaro downloads.

Even a Nigerian :)

Heres the Nigerian’s UserCard. Nigeria is a rare country. Cool that they are downloading the bible. Might be a missionary.

Twp old screenies from the old days when I could get away with using Emule at work — before they started blocking OUTGOING connectios at the firewall. Before it just blocked all ports incoming so I had a LowID but lots of bandwidth so I shared the whole damned external hard drive. The company hired a network admin that new how to setup firewalls for real so bye bye Emule at work (there are some workarounds but only 2% or less of clients would be contactable…)

Saving the OCRd Dangerous Journys Mythus RPG Main rulebook from extinction. The only non-leech complete source is an Isreali :) It took me three months to download this. Now with my powersharing efforts, this backwater book, which is long out of print courtesy of monopolistic and friviouls law-suiting (and shelved after the bankruptcy-force settlement), is prosperous on Emule P2P filesharing with 5 to 10 complete sources at any given time with at least one (Me) of them powersharing it.

This one is me digging up a SQL Server Master CD that was poorly named and only mediocre on searchability. Now it has a more verbose filename and is very safe on the network with 20-25 complete sources (I no longer power-share it).

I just found an IRAQI just now!! Don’t know if he’s native or a USA trooper. He’s my third iraqi. All Iraqis have been LowID so far, including this one, suggesting a CyberCafe, Library (if there are any left), press/media camp, or a military field base. Notice all the diverse flags! Emule is a WORLD environment. Get the MorphXT Mod for the Country flogs. The Vannilla client doesn’t have this feature.

Here’s the FriendLink: sasan. Here’s the Iraqi’s UserCard:
